Dr. Gustavo Franza
I am a bilingual Spanish-speaking licensed psychologist in Phoenix specializing in diagnostic, forensic, neuropsychological, neurodevelopmental, and neurocognitive assessment across all age groups. I earned my Doctorate in Clinical Psychology from the Arizona School of Professional Psychology in 2012 and am the founder of Franza Psychological Services.
I conduct evaluations for family, DCS, criminal, immigration, and administrative courts, addressing a wide range of issues including competency, child custody, parenting capacity, mitigation, violence risk, guardianship, disability, diagnostic clarification, expert testimony, and pre-sentence evaluations. My professional background spans private practice, inpatient, and correctional settings, providing the breadth of experience necessary to deliver balanced and comprehensive assessments tailored to each case.
In addition, I work with an elite team of clinicians who provide therapeutic support in areas such as trauma, life transitions, and addictions. Our therapeutic services are highly individualized, designed to meet the unique needs of each client.

Dr. Christina Horner

I have over 10 years of experience providing psychological assessments and therapy for children, adolescents, and adults, and hold a doctorate in Clinical Psychology from Northern Arizona University. I am currently supervised by Dr. Gustavo Franza. I understand that seeking help can be challenging, and I strive to provide a safe and supportive environment as clients navigate difficult life circumstances.
I recognize that negative experiences can influence thoughts, emotions, and self-perception, sometimes leading to patterns and behaviors that affect many areas of life. I help clients identify and challenge these issues to create positive change. I work from a strengths-based approach and have found that collaboration with clients often yields the best results. While I cannot guarantee an easy journey, I assure clients that they will not be alone on their path to healing.
My areas of expertise include ADHD, trauma, anxiety, depression, PTSD, and addictions. I also have experience working with children, adolescents, and adults. I offer individual therapy, ADHD evaluations, and psychological assessments.
Dr. Leslie Montijo-Tai
I am a licensed psychologist in Arizona with over 15 years of experience supporting individuals of all ages, backgrounds, and life experiences in hospitals, schools, and community mental health clinics. I have conducted evaluations for autism diagnosis and collaborated with agencies such as veteran services and disability programs. I earned my doctorate in Clinical Psychology from the Arizona School of Professional Psychology at Argosy University.
My approach is warm and collaborative. If you’re feeling lost or overwhelmed, I’m here to help you organize your thoughts and emotions, regain confidence in yourself, and achieve lasting change.
In our sessions, I work with you at your own pace to reach your goals, in a space where you feel comfortable, heard, and supported, and where I gently challenge you when needed.

Stephen M. Sprague
(Doctoral Candidate)
I am a clinical psychologist specializing in comprehensive psychological and neuropsychological assessments for children, adolescents, and adults. With over a decade of experience administering and interpreting a wide range of cognitive, academic, personality, and developmental measures, I have worked extensively in hospital, private practice, and educational settings. I hold a Master’s degree in Psychology from Arizona State University and am completing my Ph.D. in Clinical Psychology at Saybrook University.
My clinical expertise includes evaluations for autism spectrum disorder, ADHD, learning disabilities, traumatic brain injury, and complex psychiatric presentations. I am certified in the administration of the ADOS-2 (Modules 1–4, including the Toddler Module) and have advanced training in multiple diagnostic tools to support accurate and individualized treatment planning.
Outside of my professional work, I am a dedicated husband and father of two, which informs my compassionate, family-centered approach to assessment and care. I am committed to helping clients and their families understand their strengths and challenges and to providing clear, practical recommendations to support success.
Monica Iwabuchi
(Doctoral Candidate)
I'm a a bilingual PsyD Candidate at Northern Arizona University. I earned my master’s in Clinical Psychology from Texas A&M University Corpus Christi in 2016.
I have experience conducting neuropsychological assessments in English and Spanish for children, adolescents, adults, and the geriatric population across medical settings, schools, and private practice. I also conduct immigration and citizenship evaluations, lead therapy sessions, and provide neurofeedback sessions. I am trained in EMDR, a therapy for processing trauma and distressing experiences. My research includes my dissertation, “Examining Sleep Disturbance in Bilingual and Monolingual Latinx Students at Hispanic-Serving Institutions.”
In addition to clinical work, I have mentored doctoral students and taught psychology courses, including General Psychology as an adjunct faculty member, Experimental Psychology as a laboratory instructor, and Cognitive Psychology and Learning and Memory as a supplemental instructor.
I was raised in Mexico and am a native Spanish speaker. As an adolescent, I moved to Texas, where I lived for 18 years, before relocating to Phoenix, Arizona, to advance my career in psychology. I am currently completing my internship in El Paso, Texas. My passion is providing psychological services to the Latinx population.
I am a member of the Texas Psychological Association, Arizona Psychological Association, and the National Latinx Psychological Association.
